Summer Music Program

Our Famous Summer Jam Program starts this year on June 6th and is open to students who take private lessons with On Track Music and the Groove Dr’s. Summer Jam is a great way to get a taste of what it is like to play in a real rock band! Summer Jam bands are a first step to being admitted into our famous year-round AMPD Student Rock Band Program.

All Students who participate in the Summer Jam program will play on stage with us at our annual Summer Jam Concert and Festival on Saturday August 12th.

Things to consider before joining Summer Jam:

1. You must be a private Student of On Track / Groove Dr’s.
2. You must have your basic skills in place (basic chording skills for guitar, rudiments and beat patterns for drums, and basic chart reading for your instrument).
3. You should already be able to play along with several intermediate level songs to a track with minimal errors.

Your teacher will help you to evaluate whether you are ready for Summer Jam now or if it would be best to wait until next year.
